Two out, One in

I can't believe it's Thursday already.
Honestly, where did the week go.

I managed to get two pieces of mail out and one came in.
But I forgot to photograph the postcard I sent out for A Postcard A Day Swap.
I can tell you that it's a LV Fremont Street touristy card and it's traveling to Georgia.

Here is a letter that I started last night and finished today.

And this is what came in:

It's a letter from L.R. who's also participating in LetterMo.

A little slower but still writing.

I made a lot of progress yesterday so it's no wonder that it seems I barely made a dent today.

Here's what I mailed out:

An official Postcrossing card staying here in the USA, Kansas to be exact.

This is for the Postcard A Day swap on it's way to Hanford, CA.

A letter in a handmade envelope.

The back.

A reply letter to a LetterMo participant.

Now for the incoming :)

I recognized the handwriting on this one and it immediately brought a smile to my face.
Its from Angie.
I love that glittery tape and the cute owl stamp.
The card is quite adorable too.

A PC, A notecard and a letter swap.
It's all very nice. I love the postcard.

An official  postcrossing card that is so cute from Finland.
The sender writes:
Hi from Finland!
This is vintage card from 1927.
"Life is Game, Game is Life"
Best wishes from Mari.

An official Postcrossing card from Germany.
The sender writes:
Dear Jarie Lyn,
My name is Evelyn and I live in Berlin/Germany.
I am 46 years old.
My occupation is a secrettary.
I work at an organization which is busy with reparation of Nazi's in justice to jew in the time from 1933 to 1945 in the area of former GDR.
The work has begun only after the reunification of both german states and now is almost finished.
I have a daughter, she does not live anymore with me, she is 23 years old.
I gladly go away, read books and do manual labours.
Best wishes,
Evelyn.

Wow, that is really a great greeting from a postcrosser.
These are the best ones for me no matter what the front looks like.

So that's my mail.
And I said it's day five, but really it's only day four officially because we don't county Sunday.
But I'll probably continue to confuse myself and others.
It's still day five for me because I wrote something every day of the month so far.

I've been experimenting on my computer to make labels and other things but so far it's been a total failure.

Ah, Making Progress on Day 4

I've been a busy little bee today.
I had lots of errands to run and I didn't get a chance to post my mail before I left the house and I really didn't expect to be gone all day.

I sent out a bit of mail today.
It's day four of A Month of Letters and I actually posted some mail for a participant.

Here's my outgoing for day four.

An official Postcrossing card on its way to Germany.

An official Postcrossing card driving all the way to Finland.

Two postcards going out for the Postcard A Day swap.
Sunday's is being mailed today.

This is also for a swap on swap-bot.
Four U.S. Touristy PC In The USA (4 different states) #4

A penpal letter.

Another penpal letter.

And this one is going all the way to Switzerland for a registered LetterMo participant.

Whew!

I've still got a lot of writing to do.

Here's the mail I received today.

A beautiful vibrant card full of color from China.
It's an official Postcrossing.

The sender writes:
To JarieLyn,
Hello. This card is from China.
Harbin is a beautiful city.
It's famous for ice and snow.
The card show you Harbin Ice Lantern Art Fair.
Have a nice day.
Welcome to Harbin.

I normally don't show the backside but this one is too good not to share.

Of course, lovely stamps but the best part is this......

I love this drawing on my postcard and I appreciate the sender doing this.

The Official First Day Of Month of Letters

Today marks the first day of A Month Of Letters Challenge and
although I mailed some things out I'm not off to the start I envisioned in my mind.

Here's what I mailed out today.

This is going to a pen pal.

These are going to two pen pals and two swaps.
One swap is going to Japan and it is "I Feel Used" postcard swap.
The other swap is for a Postcard a Day Feb 1-14.

Here's what came in:

A postcard from A Postcard For Your Thoughts Swap.

That's it.

Enjoy your weekend!

I'll see you around here some time tomorrow.
