Outgoing Postcrossings

Hello friends. It's been raining most of the day. I hope it ends before 9:00 tonight though because I have an outdoor activity planned with a group of people and if it is still raining it might ruin our plans. My fingers are crossed. I love the rain, but just not tonight, please.

I write: Hi Lena, I also like WWII memorabilia. I like the 1940's in general. It seems like a very classy period in time. Sometimes, I wish the world could go back in time but without the war. Things were so much simpler back then. Have a great day. <3 JarieLyn

I write: Hi Benno, greetings from Las Vegas! I have toured the Loretta Lynn Plantation home twice. The home sits on beautiful, lush, green acreage. The state of Tennessee is gorgeous and I wish to live there one day. Loretta Lynn still lives on this peoperty but in a different house, and hidden from the public. I write: Hi Alexandr. I live in the amazing city of Las Vegas. I photographed these guitars while on bacation to Texas. This photograph also won 1st place in a photography competition so I am very proud of it. I don't listen to a lot of new music but my favorite current band is Arctic Monkeys. Other than that, I'm stuck in the 80's. Have a fabulous day and keep playing music. It's good for the soul.

Traveling Postcrossings

Today's postcrossings are traveling to The Netherlands, Chicago, Germany, and Belarus. 

I write: Dear Frank and Susanna, it's a pleasure to be sending you a postcard. The image on this card represents all of the wildlife we have in our desert. It's my personal opinion that the card is prettier than the actual desert. On antoher note, it's been a fairly lazy weekend for me and my husband. We have been watching lots of movies on TV. I write: Hello Mirjam, warm greetings from Las Vegas. I hope you like these love monkeys. I got this card a few week ago when I was on a field trip with my camera club in Carlsbad, California. We photographed the flower fields, walked barefoot on the beach, ate good food, drank margaritas and snapped a photo of the sun setting behind the pier. Good times were had by all.
