Polka Dot Cuties, Bagpipes, and Purple Leaves

Greetings from the hot, dry, desert. Hope you are all enjoying your summer so far. Here are some recent incoming Postcrossings that I received.

This ought to cool you down.
Two polka dot cuties from Great Britain.
The sender writes: Hello JarieLyn, I hope you'll like this cute pair! They seem to be having fun! :)
L.

This card comes to me from Bulgaria. My first card from this country I believe.
The sender writes: Hello, Greetings from Bulgaria! I'm Andon and I live in a beautiful small town of Smulyam. The region is famous with its folklore music. The Rhodopes are a birth place of the legendary Orpheus. He can charm all living things and even stons with his music. The sound of 100 kaba bagpipes in one place is amazing. Best wishes.

A pretty postcard from Belarus.
The sender writes: Hello JarieLyn, greetings from Belarus. I ahve my english exam tomorrow but I haven't prepared for it at all. :D  Hope I'll be lucky enough to pass it. Try not to leave such things for the last minute as I do. Best wishes. Have a nice day! Irina.

I just love how everyone is so different in what they write, and yet we are all so much alike too.

A Monster of a Postcard and More

Happy St. Patrick's Day my lovely friends. Today is my brother's birthday. He doesn't live in the same town or the same state as I do so I will give him a call and wish him a fabulous day.  Who's going to be drinking green beer or some other wild concoction that is greenish in color?  At the very least, make sure you wear green so you don't get pinched. :)

Today's post is all about incoming postcards that I have received over the last week or so.  First, is a postcard that my pal Lynn sent to me. It made me laugh and it made my day.  Thanks Lynn.

I love this card, don't you?

A Postcrossing from Great Britain.
The sender writes: Hello! Hope you like this postcard of a dog! I think he was watching his owner walk away because of the sad look in his eyes. :(  There is a room in our house that my newphew won't enter (he's only 1). We think it's because there's a ghost in there that we can't see. Children are supposed to have an ability to see the paranormal, but lose it as they age. Creepy! Lots of love from Kate in Lincoln, England.

Cute card and interesting note.

A Postcrossing from Russia.
The sender writes: Hello! On the card shows the ancient Greco-Scy thiah settlement of Kara Tobe and the little castle is strengthening of the second world war, now there is a museum. It is Crimea, Southern Ukraine.  (I'm not sure if I wrote the right words up above)

A Postcrossing from Germany.
The sender writes: Hey, my name is Leonie and I'm from Germany. I love the USA, because I went there last year to live with a host family and to go to school and it was absolutely wonderful! I stayed in Utah and I saw so many awesome things. So, I hope you're having an AMAZING day! Best wishes, Leoni.

A Postccrossing from Hong Kong.
The sender writes: Hello, I am Woody from Hong Kong :) nice to meet you. Woody like flower, rabbit.

(she drew a flower and a rabbit.)

Have a wonderful day everyone and stay mellow and be safe.

I'm an extraordinary penpal

I received my free stationery from LEP for extending my membership another year.

I received two slightly different writing papers, matching envelopes, and some postcards. I love the envelopes. I wonder who will receive a letter by me on this stationery?  Even I, do not know.

A Postcrossing from Latvia.
The sender writes:  Hello! greetings from Latvia! I hope you'll like this little doggy! He is way too cute. :) Happy Postcrossing! Gune.

A Postcrossing from China.
The sender writes:  Hi! I am Patricia. Yesterday was Valentine's Day and I had a wonderful sleep. Just now I received my first digital camera that I bought yesterday. It took a long time to make this decision. I am going to walk in the park and take some photos of this amazing city. Live is wonderful, isn't it? Have a nice day!

This is a Postcrossing from Great Britain.
The sender writes: Dear JarieLyn, greetings from England! My name is Heather and I am 13 years old. On your profile it says you like colourful cards and beaches so I thought this might suit. My hobbies include rock climbing, art, drama and climbing trees with my friend . (though we always get stuck!) Las Vegas seems an amazing place to live! Though I've never been. Maybe I will visit one day. Love Heather. x

This card I have received once before from my pal John who lives in the UK. Now I have 2.

I received more notecards from a notecard swap. These are a nice variety.

That's it for today. Make it a good one in your neck of the woods.
