Wonderful Mail Wednesday & a Tiny Bitch Session.

Good afternoon and hello my friends.

I received a lot of wonderful postcards today.
See for yourself.

A lovely and beautiful Valentine from Ally.

A wonderful postcard from Mariska in the Netherlands.
I love bridges and trains and these certainly showcase the gorgeous landsccapes nearby.

An official Postcrossing card from Ukraine.
A very unique way of showcasing the Country's map.

The sender writes:
Hello!
I live in Ukraine, in a big industrial city Dnipropetrovsk.
I am a physician, and also I take part in clinical trials of new drugs (as a researcher).
Best Regards,
Nataliya.

I volunteered to be a gunniea pig in a medical study once, but didn't follow through because I got scared.

An official Postcrossing card from Taiwan.

The sender writes:
Hello! (translates in his language)
This postcard is bought by me when I  and my paretns go to (undecipherable language).
I feel it's a cute card.
And it have many "Tung Blossom".
Wish you can see this flower one day.

Yes, I think it's a cute card too.

My first card received from A Postcard A Day Swap.

Here's the outgoing:

Checking off another entry from my postable account.

Another check.
I'm doing good.

And finally, I replied to the first LetterMo mail that I received awhile back.

And now for my teensy tiny bitch session which I hope doesn't sound too petty.

First, let me say that I am grateful for actually receiving something from a swap I joined.

But......................

I joined this particular swap because the rule was you had to tell about your day on the pc you send out.

What do I get?

A teeny tiny tidbit about the city.

Sorry, but the pc already gives me info about the city.
I want to hear about you, the sender.

Did you not read the instructions for the swap?
Sorry if I sound like a bitch but for me the whole point of sending and receiving postcards in a swap is because you like something about the rules of said swap.

I'm talking about Swap-Bot not private swaps or things sent on a whim.

Mariska, you are a sweetheart and I am not talking about the card you sent.
I like you and I love everything you send and write.
Just wanted to clarify.

Here's No. 13 for A Postcard A Day Swap.
Even though my life is boring, I still wrote what I did during the day which wasn't much, but I filled the space in the card.

Lonely and Dark...........

That was the state of my mailbox yesterday.
Nada, Zero, Zilch.

However, just because my mailbox was empty doesn't mean I didn't send a couple of envelopes on their way.

A big envelope for the Desk De-Clutter Swap #8.
This fat envelope cost me over $8.00 to mail.
I hope whoever gets it likes all the stuff I put inside.

A simple envelope decorated with vintage stickers on its way to a penpal.

And that's all for Tuesday's mail.

Today is Wednesday, who knows what will greet me today.

A Ten Year Love Affair.

I love Sundays.
Sunday is the day I sneak off to meet with my endermologist.
I cannot keep it a secret any longer.
I want to shout to the world how good I feel every time I leave.
This love affair has been going on for about ten years now and I think I will never put an end to it.
Some people get pedicures, acrylic nails, massages, etc.
I on the other hand, have a tete a tete' with my endermologist once a week and I love it.
My husband doesn't mind at all that I look forward to seeing Shelley each week.
In fact, I think he likes it.
Are you surprised that my endermologist is a female or that my husband doesn't mind?
I know by now that your imagination has conjured up all kinds of lurid scenarios, hasn't it?
Well rest assured, that it is all innocent and that if you had an experience with Shelley, you'd be hooked too.
Now, get your mind out of the gutter and go google endermologie.

Here's some mail to get your thoughts back on track.

A pretty package and nice gift from my penpal Rachael.

Here's what was inside:

A really nice note card set.
I really like the designs.
They are very pretty.

She enclosed this cute card with a nice note written inside.

A nice multi view post card of Yosemit National Park.
This is from a swap I joined, "A Postcard in The USA"

Another postcard form a different person, same swap.
I really fell in love with this card.
It's a photo of Zane Grey, the author of numerous western novels.
The weird thing is that I was just talking about him a couple of weeks ago.
I think it's Synchronicity that I got this card in a swap.
I love these type of cards because they capture a mood, a personality and evoke feeling.

That's it for Saturday's incoming mail, but it definitely made my day.

I sent out two letters yesterday.

One to a penpal and a thank you to my nephew's in-laws.

I got the beatnik stationery for Christmas and I used every peice of paper in this one letter.
Now, I have these cute envelopes with no matching paper.
I did however, get two sets of this stationery so I suppose I could make copies of the paper in the 2nd set so I can have more paper to go with the left over envelopes in the first set.

The second envelope in the photo is handmade by me.

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year's Eve.
