The Fabulous Face of Mail.

Good morning my friends!
I hope you are doing well.
Yesterday I was restless so I took a drive to Boulder City.
It's not very far but it's a good distance from my side of town.
The change of scenery was refreshing and I was drawn in to my audiobook.
I didn't want to stop the car because I was so engrossed in the story.
I thoroughly enjoyed driving around wasting gas.
Yes, I said it.
I'm not a do-gooder greenie.
My secret's out.

Incoming Mail:

This wonderful creative postcard from Limner at Oh Write Me.

A handmade postcard from a swap on Swap-Bot.
Apparently, all of the embellishments didn't make it through the postal system.
:-(

This is from one of my partners for another swap, Quick Notecard Swap #4.

This is from my partner Peggy for the Themed Messages RR on Postcrossing.

Outgoing Mail:

A pen pal letter on a fold-up stationery.

This is going to my swap partner for Notecard swap #2
(there's at least 10 notecards inside + a little something extra)

An official Postcrossing on its way to Colorado, right here in the good old U. S. of A.

That was all the mail for yesterday and it was all good.

Any mail I get is loved by me!

Will Work For Food

Good Morning Bloglings!
We had some crazy weather yesterday with heavy winds and rain that came without warning.
I managed to get a lot done around the house and I wrote a few letters.

I also received some really cute postcards from Postcrossing.

This one comes from Ukraine.
The sender writes:
Hello from Ukraine. (she also wrote the same phrase in her own language)
Normally I don't post pictures of the stamps but I really like the ones on this post card.

Next postcard:

This is a Postcrossing from Germany.
The sender writes:
Hi JarieLyn, greetings from cold Germany.
So much we are waiting for the spring, but every day we got new snow.
I hope you like my postcard.
Best wishes and happy postcrossing!
:)
Holger

This is a Postcrossing from Austria, my first one from that country.
The sender writes:
Hi JarieLyn,
I hope you enjoy this postcard from a dog.
I wish you all the best.
Sebastian.

I have been enjoying all the dog postcards I have received.
They make me smile.

Here's my outgoing mail, starting with my handmade postcards for a swap I joined.

I'm posting them in the order that I made them.

Those postcards are for the Make a Postcard #1 Swap
They are headed to CA, MD, and Iowa.

A giant postcard traveling to Switzerland.

Pen Pal Letters:

So that's what I managed yesterday.
I was proud of myself.

Maybe I get at least one more letter written today.

I hope everyone is enjoying this Tuesday morning so far.
Thanks for stopping by.
