It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday. Mine was awesome.  Yesterday, my mother-in-law and I took a drive up to Mt. Charleston, just a 30 minute drive from my house and this is one of the pretty scenes we discovered while driving around.  Are you surprised that there is this much snow near Las Vegas?
I loved being up here in the snow just for the day. It was a world away from the city and yet it took only minutes to get here. It's one of my favorite places to go when I get restless and need to take a drive.

I've been busy with Chrisstmas card swaps on Swap-Bot. I will start filling out my cards to friends and family tomorrow.  I have a lot of people on my list so it will take me awhile.  Here's the bulk of mail I've been sending and receiving lately. Enjoy!

The first batch of cards for a Christmas card swap.

These two cards are also for  Mostly snow Christmas card swap.

Next, a few Christmas cards that have started to trickle in.

I love snowy scenes with glitter.
So pretty.

A card from one of my pen pals who is one of my swap partners.

I am a sucker for Santa Clauses.
I love this card.

Next, a few postcrossings I've recently sent out.

I've had some come in too, but I forgot to photograph them and I am too lazy to do it now.

Here I am walking in the snow.
I discovered a snow angel and I had to pull over and take a picture of it.
I had to walk quite a way to get to it though.

I can't believe I saw this from the road.
I took it as a sign!
My angels are always with me.

Have a fabulous day!

Lovely cards, and the snow is so lovely. Fresh and white.

Great photos. I agree with you about the glittery snow on the cards. That's the way I like my snow best! :0)
