I write: Hi Catherine, Today I hosted a Party-Lite candle party and had pizza for dinner. It was a hot day so I spent most of my time inside where it was cool. Now, the TV is entertaining me with recorded episodes of "Leah Rimini, It's all Relative". Cheers to a good life. <3 JarieLyn :)

I write: Greetings Luyu! It's been awhile since I"ve been horseback riding but I really enjoy it. All of my husband's family own horses and his brothers and nephews like to participate in roping competitions at the rodeo. Horses are magnificent animals. I wish you a happy life. <3 JarieLyn

Postcrossings-Southern Style

Hello, it's another gorgeous day here in Las Vegas. I've been working on some pen pal letters, postcrossings, and my project for "Liberate Your Art".  I thought I'd just share a few of the postcrossings going out. I just noticed that all the postcards I chose are from the south. I didn't do it purposely, but at least it gives me a cohesive theme for today's post. Enjoy!

I write:  Hello lovely Kathy, greetings from Las Vegas, Nevada where I currently reside. My husband and I went to Kentucky last year for our vacation and it is absolutely beautiful. We attended the Kentucky Derby and had so much fun. I hope to be able to go again someday. The mint julep is the famous drink that everyone has over there. Personally, I didn't like the tast at alll. An angel to watch over you

Good afternoon lovelies. This morning I woke up to an awesome text from my esthetician telling me to come in to the salon for a complimentary microdermabrasion facial. Well who am I to turn that down. It's normally $65.00 for this service and I got it for free. Not only that, but she also gave me a couple of gift certificates to give to my friends. ( I was already planning to buy one for somebody) So, I tipped her $50.00 because really what she gave me was worth four times that amount. I am one blessed lady. What does this have to do with mail? Well, nothing but it is a prelude to the first postcrossing card I'm about to show you.

I write:  Hello Svetlana, it's currently raining here in Las Vegas, Nevada where I live. We don't get much rain here in the desert so it is a nice welcome. I turned 50 last year. Yikes! I am a positive thinker. I believe in the law of attraction and that we create our circumstances by what we focus on.
