Happy Friday everyone. Wow, This week has really gone by fast.
Thursday brought me two pieces of mail and I sent out two pieces of mail.
Here's what came in:
A most wonderful and long letter from my penpal, Rachael.
A nice letter and a beautiful postcard from a fellow blogger http://scriptorsenex.blogspot.com/
I guess you can say we've become sort of penpals as of late.
Mailed out:
A small package to my oldest and dearest friend, Cari.
It's an autographed book to Cari from my friend Glenn Puit who is a True Crime Author.
I've had this book for about two or three years and every time I see Cari, I always forget to give it to her. I should have mailed it a long time ago.
This is on its way to the U.K. for Big Fat Filled Envelope Swap.
Believe me, you can't tell from the picture but it is fat.
It cost me $21.36 to mail. That was the cheapest.
I think I'll stay away from international swaps unless it's just a letter or postcard.
Does anyone else do international swaps and what have been your experiences?

Is there a country from which you have not received mail? I think what you are doing is brilliant!
Wow, that big fat envelope is fantastic! I am curious what was inside!:)))
Yes, postage prices for international packages are crazy... But it is worth.
wow..I love to see what other people get, envelopes, letters, stamps...!Thanks for stopping by my blog :D
Hi there again! yes, I do international swaps all the time and you are right it is quite costly. I've learned if you ship in two different packages it can be cheaper than in one package. I know, makes no sense! I love doing international swaps because you can often get items not available in your country. :) See you again in blogland! :) Jacqueline
