A Deviant Postcrosser

TGIF!

I didn't send any mail yesterday but I did get a few items.

An official Postcrossing card from the Netherlands, however, the sender deviated from the norm.
Instead of a postcard she sent a greeting card with a little surprise inside.

The sender writes:
Hi JarieLyn,
A little gift for you!
Create your own book with happy thoughts, the funniest moments and wonderful meetings and the best quotes.
Be creative!
Have fun!
A very good 2013.
Greetings,
Angelique.
So that little quote below the card is a little accordian book that she put together for me to write in.
It's very cute.

A wonderful and adorable postcard from Mariska.
You can read her blog here at Rissie's Mailbox.
Thank you Mariska. I love it.

A random card from a user at sendsomething.net.
A possible new pen pal.

An official Postcrossing card from Germany.
I had no idea that there was a Queen Mary 2.

The sender writes:
Hello JarieLyn,
I'm writing this card on beahlf of my mother.
She cannot write herself any longer but she still enjoys participating in postcrossing.
Best wishes from Stacy.

This is from Quick Notecard Swap on swap-bot.
Cute notecards.
And a cute memo sheet with name and swap.

This is from the same swap, different person.
Cute cards, but the person didn't even take the time to write their name or what swap it's for.
It irks me.
I'm sorry but it does.
If you ever receive a swap from me you will get at least get a full page written inside a notecard or a one page letter no matter what kind of swap it is.

I don't care how much I like what you send me, if you don't write me a note, I won't give you a heart with my rating.
That's just how I am.
Even when I receive a package that I have ordered from Amazon or Ebay, I always get a little note thanking me for my business, etc.

Sorry for the tiny rant.
Grrrr.
