Weekend Wrap-Up

Last night was my camera club's first program meeting of the year.
We had a fantastic speaker, David Jesse McChesney who did a presentation on the Mojave Desert.
I bought some notecards from his collection. Here is a photo of two of them.

This one is called Silhoutted Bobcats.
there is some glare from the cellophane that is protecting the card.

This one it called Lil Wiley Howling.
So cute.

Hmmm. I'm thinking about doing a give-away for one of these cards.
I'll let you know if that happens.

Here's the mail for the weekend, Friday included.

Incoming:
An official postcard from the UK.
It's quite lovely.
The sender writes:
Hello JarieLyn,
Greetings from Liverpool, england.
I hope you like this postcard of the iron statues on the beach near where I live.
There are 100 statues in total and they are an art exhibit.
All the statues look out towards the sea and the distant lands beyond.
Happy postcrossing and best wishes.
Ross.

This is a postcard from a swap I joined called Penpal Postcard #4.
I love old buildings.

This is a card that a member of sendsomething sent to me.
I love it when people send me random mailings.
It's always such a nice surprise to get something unexpected.

This is from another swap I joined called, A Cheery Greeting Card Swap.
Isn't it pretty?
I adore black and pink together.

Outgoing:

Two letters going out for a swap called, Quick Notecards Swap #1.

The stamps I used on one of the envelopes.

The stamps I used on the other envelope.

That's all folks.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Wow, love the cards! All of them, also the first two, of David Jesse McChesney. :)
The other mail you got is great too! :)
You really decorate your envelopes very nice! I really like that, wish I could do that too. :)
Have a nice weekend too (for what's left of it)!

Hugs,
Mariska

This Penpal Postcard #4 photo is from my city (Barcelona), a famous building known as Casa Batlló :) I really like it too! Those Quick Notecards envelopes are also adorable! Greetings from Spain :)

Love the notecards and the stamps are fab!

It's snowing here in Dallas this morning, can you say crazy!

I've parked my butt in front of my desk and am trying my best to organize things in a better way...mostly I find myself staring at all the pretty colored pens!

Glad my letter arrived! ;)

Hugs from Texas!
